Writing articles is not my favorite chore to do for my business. Compared to adwords, this is one of the cheapests forms of effective advertising. Unless you have studied several courses on ppc advertising, then I would not recommend beginning there as your first source of traffic for a beginning MLM marketer.
Writing articles is a talent which increases with practice. I know many of the marketers new to the internet probably have never written an article in their life. Don’t fret, article writing is simpler than you imagine.
To make article writing easier, choose a subject you enjoy or know about. I have learned about weight loss over the years from personal experience, graduate school and my chiropractic office. Writing about my experiences comes naturally, since I deal with this on a daily basis. When creating my article, I pretend I am telling a story to one of my colleagues or patients. This is a tip which has greatly helped me be able to write much faster. If you’re a newbie to article marketing, new ideas for articles will be your biggest obstacle to overcome. Ask yourself “What am I good at?” “What do I know about?” If these questions still do not produce topics for article marketing, try reading books or attending free webinars on a topic which interests you.
If you have been implementing article marketing in your SEO,then you know about PLR articles. These are ok to post on a blog, but I never submit them to article directories. I have also found that rewriting a plr article takes just as much time as writing one from scratch. One helpful thing about plr articles is just using them to give you ideas for articles you would like to write. If you give in to temptation and try to submit a plr article, you will most likely be declined and it is not a good idea if you would like to present a professional reputation to your readers.
You must provide content in every article. Make sure your article contains genuine helpful or instructive information. Spamming your product or business proposition is not allowed in article directories. For example, if your opportunity is a weight loss patch, do not write “it’s the best product in the whole world” maybe it is, but that’s not the point. Use a different approach such as an article about the absorption rate of the patch compared to pills or liquids. Most people would find that interesting, especially, if they were not aware of such a product. If you constantly brag about your opportunity or product, soon readers will not even read your articles because the information you share is not useful.
Lock yourself in the office, take a deep breathe and create your first article. The maiden voyage will be rough and time consuming, but pretty quick you will have article writing down to 15-20 minutes per article and you may even enjoy it.
